working hard...

Kristin is doing fine..just having some pain...that is different than what she has been used to..her ankle hurts along with right below her knee and on the top of her foot...our Doctor said that it is normal..and she is getting to the "painful" part of this and her whole leg will hurt..due to stretching of muscles, tissue, blood vessels, and ligaments... since she is able to move her big toe up and down-- and she has feeling on the top of her foot -sometimes nerves can be stretched and 'bothered' and cause her foot to be numb- but Kristin is not having any of that..so we are going to be greatful for what we dont have..and blessed to have the ability to walk one day..
I was wondering..if you would pray for a family who we have met who's son was coming in for back surgery..and things went wrong after he left.. and he will not EVER walk again...he is 16yrs old..played football and had plans to go back to it after healing..but now has to learn how to live his life differently.. thank you..sooo much for holding HIM UP..
we are getting to come home for the weekend..which we are excited about.. and thanks to my sweet friend..we get to fly instead of drive...
Also one of the boys who has been here for over 10 weeks just had his bday today.. and when the Child Life Director asked him what he wanted for his bday he said for Tony Romo (from the Dallas Cowboys) to come to his party...wellllll they made the calls..and Tony is out of town.. but he signed a football and the ball was delivered by 2 Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders..it was quite a party..and fun for all.. Justin was sooooo excited... then Tony called him on the phone to tell him Happy Birthday.. it was sooo neat.. much love, 2 Hazel girls.. who are in the Big D...
