back again...

Well we were able to go home for the long weekend..and had a fun time.. I dropped off Kristin to hang with a sweet friend that she doesnt get to see often...and then off to her best friends house for a sleepover..it was cute cause when Emily's grandma saw Kristin she was a little worried about the "frame" but I told her that she will be fine..and can take care of everything.. she did great... then on Sat.Aub and I were off to bkfast tacos with girlfriends..and dinner at home..where we played with our goofy Dog..and he was happy to see us..then off to church and a pool party with some of my crazzzzy bunco girlfriends..and their families..it was lots of fun..with time to talk, giggle..and just hang out.. it was good..
We had a picnic at our Grandma and PaPa Cooley on MOnday..and then K and I headed back to Dallas and were here by 10pm..off to bed to start our week..
On Tue morn. Dr.Karol looked at her legs next to oneanother..and said that her knees were almost aligned..and her heels too..she asked Kristin if her leg still felt shorter when she walks and K said "yes"...so we were off to an x-ray with a table she laid on and her feet where up against a board at the end of the table..and a measuring tape on the table.... and 3 different x-rays were taken.. then that afternoon our Doctor came in to tell us that she will do her "turnings" this week and another x-ray next Monday or Tue.... will see about maybe getting home earlier then we thought...not sure when ..But GOD knows..
wellllll please keep our friend here in your prayers..he is moving slower then his Docs thought he might..but having much more upper body strenth.. he will be home this weekend and will see friends for the 1st time..in a wheelchair... thanks for holding him UP.. Im off to help with the outside Physical Rech time..
much love,Carla..

We met this weekend at Scottish Rites and you saw my yellow motorcycle and wore my helmet. I will be bringing you this poem soon with a picture of me on the bike. Wish I could show it now, but here's the poem;

THE WINGS OF A BUTTERFLY
Your friendship is special
Like the flowers that bloom,
Or when a butterfly emerges
From within its cocoon...

You remind me of that butterfly,
Loving and free,
Bright and colorful,
For the world to see...

We will share sunshine and rainbows;
Sometimes, the rain and the snow;
We'll stand together through it,
While the cold winds blow...

When the time is right,
We won't stop to ask "Why?"
Our friendship will take flight
On the wings of a butterfly ...
